About "I count carbon"

This site was produced so that an individual carbon dioxide footprint could be quickly calculated and the effects of lifestyle changes could be explored.

Some changes result in a large reduction in carbon dioxide production but it may not be easy to make these changes. Other easy changes may not have much effect.

If, by using a carbon dioxide footprint calculator, you find some type 2 changes then this is great. If all the changes you could make are type 3 then you have more difficult decisions to make if you want to make a difference. You may find changes that fit all of the types.
